How can you help yourself feel authentic?

The journey to an authentic sense of self begins first and foremost within.


It is related to internal and external changes. Sometimes it means the emergence of a stimulus to abandon old habits that no longer correspond to our values. Sometimes it means accepting new ideas that expand our perception. It is dissatisfaction with the current situation, with ourselves, a desire and challenge to live, feel, differently. This requires openness and courage to step into the unknown.

How do you recognize that you want change?


Sometimes life itself sends us signs that it's time for a change. Maybe you feel an inner restlessness, as if something is preventing you from being happy. Maybe you often have questions about the meaning of life, relationships, or your place in the world. These are signs that your soul is yearning for change.


It's important not to be afraid of these feelings. They invite us to sail into wider waters. You can start with small steps:


  • Take time for self-analysis and reflection.

  • Find books that inspire and broaden your horizons.

  • Practice mindfulness and meditation.

  • Seek support in the community or from a spiritual guide.


This path is not easy, but it is worth every step.


My tips for spiritual growth and change


I want to share a few practical recommendations that helped me take my first steps towards spiritual growth.


1. Accept yourself as you are


Sometimes we are our own worst critics. Let's learn to love ourselves with all our weaknesses and mistakes. It is not weakness, but the courage to be true to ourselves.


2. Learn to listen to your inner voice


The inner voice often speaks quietly, but it knows what we really need. Let's make time for silence and peace so we can hear it.


3. Practice gratitude


Gratitude changes our perspective on life. Even the smallest gifts – a ray of sunshine in the morning, a warm word, a compliment, a hug, a surprise – can spiritually warm and reward our path.


4. Seek support


The path of spiritual growth and authentic self-discovery is not a lonely one. Let's look for people who understand and support us. Sometimes a conversation with a loved one or a spiritual guide can open up new perspectives.


5. Be patient


Change doesn't happen overnight. It's a slow, consistent process that requires patience and self-love.

How to stay motivated and not give up in the face of difficulties?


The path to spiritual growth is often full of challenges. Sometimes it feels like we are going backwards instead of forwards. At times like these, it is important to remember why we started this journey.


One of my favorite ways is to write a diary. It's a place where I can express my thoughts, feelings, and see how I'm changing. Small victories also help - every challenge overcome is a step forward.
